If you have an article about guitars or guitar players, especially jazz guitar, that you would like to submit, here are some suggestions:
First, we don't pay for your material. However, we offer you a great forum for your writing. If it's good it'll be noticed on Classic Jazz Guitar by jazz players and fans and by publishers. Jim Carlton who wrote for us for more than 3 years just signed a book deal for the articles he published here at Classic Jazz Guitar.
To that end you retain all copyright ownership and control of the material.
We focus on jazz players from just before and after mid-20th century. We will also consider material about contemporary jazz players.
We like to review both original and previously published material. If you have an original article it can be submitted by email. We will respond to your submission in a timely manner on the suitability for the web site.
If you have a previously published article that you'd like us to consider we need you to also submit the following information about the original publisher.
Name of Publisher
Date of Publication
Volume and Issue of Publication
Original Title of Article
We'll use this information to ask for permission from the publisher to re-print the article.
