Eddie Duran (1925) has done significant recorded work with Tania Maria, Cal Tjader, Earl Hines, Vince Guaraldi and Stan Getz. He has performed with Charlie Parker, George Shearing and Red Norvo.
Although perhaps best known for his work with Tania Maria, his work with Tjader and Guaraldi produced some of the best examples of his playing.
He has two albums as leader, Eddie Duran Jazz Guitarist (1956) and Ginza (1977), both excellent examples of his jazz guitar.
